A trend that I hope goes away FAST. These Indian head dresses and homemade looking floral headbands that looked like you can make your own for under a few bucks when you purchase the materials at your local 99 cents store graced the Empire Polo Fields for this years Coachella 2013. Now, I keep it positive and I don’t like sounding so negative but honestly there is nothing “cute” about looking like you plucked your rose garden and attached a rose branch to your head..

Not sure that I would buy this for that is what a backpack is for but I came across this on Etsy and had to share. This seller on Etsy “OPPSMARK” has some great accessories for those of us who love bikes!

Re-reading one of my favorite books: Vidal Sassoon and the Bauhaus. My favorite quote from #vidalsassoon is “Relating hairdressing to architecture is an analogy I often use because, as an #architect would create a structure within the parameters of a city using its natural geographic landscape, so we would cut hair within the confines of a human face using the natural structure of the bones. I think that as good architecture enhances a city, a good hair design/cut enhances the definition and expression of a face” - Vidal Sassoon
